THE BASIC SYNOPSIS:

Grey is a twenty-one year old college student. He is madly in love with nineteen-year-old Sage who attends the same college. Nothing is stronger than Grey’s love for Sage; unfortunately Sage doesn’t feel the same way towards Grey. In our story, Grey eventually bares witness to Sage being unfaithful to him. Grey feels heartbroken but his love for Sage is undying and Sage feels awful for hurting Grey’s feelings, and with that the two remain together. As the months pass Grey forgets about the incident with Sage’s unfaithfulness and his love for her continues to grow. But one day as Grey decides to give Sage a surprise visit at her dorm he walks in on Sage in bed, but with another man. Grey’s heart is shattered and with that he begins to fall into a deep depression. Missing his classes, picking up a drug habit, and becoming reclusive. Grey begins to believe that he is at fault for Sage’s unfaithfulness, feeling that he wasn’t loving enough for her. He makes dozens of telephone calls to her begging her to be with him again, but it is all in vein, for Sage was over Grey long ago. Grey becomes numb to the world, his drug habit becomes worse, and he suffers overdoses, horrible hallucinations, and loss of ability to distinguish fantasy from reality. All of this leads to Grey’s final meltdown to where his entire objective is to regain Sage’s attention, with many failed attempts under his belt one night changes everything. Grey murders a girl that he meets in a bar, with no feeling, he has no remorse, and the only thought that remains in his head is that of Sage. With this, he finally finds a way to attract her attention. He continues to murder young girls that remind him of Sage, dismembering their bodies. He compiles parts from every girl then leaves them on Sage’s doorstep with a love letter. After sage discovers the gift he has left her, she breaks down and becomes traumatized, her mind permanently scarred, her fear overcomes her, resulting in her being admitted into an asylum. Grey is left with nothing but the police surrounding him and the gun he presses to his head.
